This type of diet keeps the body satisfied at all times so that it does not feel a need to store calories for later in the form of fat.

Even if one is not looking to become a competitive bodybuilder, there are some important aspects of muscle building that will have some serious long term health benefits for anybody willing to devote the time and effort into developing a muscle building exercise program and follow a well balanced, nutritious diet that provides the right number of calories from the proper mix of proteins, fats, and carbohydrates.
